Here is simple tip how to remove activation wizard or to install Microsoft office 2007 with full version.

First, you need to have Microsoft Office 2007 in your computer.
Required key to active? Don't worry just it leave blank and install without key.

How to active/remove Microsoft Office 2007 activation wizard?

1) Copy and paste Proof.XML file from
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en
to your desktop.

2) Open Proof.XML file from your desktop using Notepad/WordPad and find
Feature Id="SetupXmlFiles"
After that word you will see
OptionRef Id="AlwaysInstalled"
.
Change word "AlwaysInstalled" to "NeverInstalled" and save it.

3) Now copy Proof.XML file from your desktop and replace the existing file in
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en

You're done!! Now open Microsoft Office 2007 and one again you will see activation popup. Just click active and a message will appear "Thank you, your product has been activated." close and open again. No more popup appear.

Good Luck....

  11. The 'access is denied'-window means as it says that the account where you are logged on to isn't allowed to make changes in this .xml-file.
    - To resolve this, you need to right click on this file and select properties.
    - Then uncheck the 'read-only'-option
    - Go to the security-tab and click on the 'Edit'-button
(You will see the window of users who have the rights to make changes on this file)
    - You click on the Add button (and a search screen will appear)
    - Click on 'Advanced' and the 'Find now'
    - You will see all groups and users on your system and you simply have to click on your accountname of the account you use at that moment and click 'OK' and again 'OK'.
    - You will see that the user is added to the list of accessable users. Now in the listbox with the rights you can choose which right you give to this account.
    - Click 'Apply' and 'OK' and you will be able to save the changes :)

  14. For those folks with the problem of:

    *****ACCESS IS DENIED*****

All you have to do is cut/paste the "proof" file in the desktop, edit it and then cut/paste it in the "proof.en" folder.

    This should work.
    Thanks, GT

you must delete product id and digital product id in:
firstly Close all Microsoft office applications

now Run Registry Editor by clicking on Start -> Run, and then type “regedit” in the Open box and press Enter key.

Navigate to the following registry key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration
Note that inside the registry key, there should be another subkey that matches the following:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Office \ 12.0 \ Registration \ {90120000-0030-0000-0000-0000000FF1CE
    (or)
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Registration\{91120000-0011-0000-0000-0000000FF1C
If there is more than one registry values or subkeys that reference Microsoft 12.0 registration, open up each subkey, and then identify the product by the ProductName value data until you locate the subkey for the product which you want to remove the existing product license key.
    For example:
    ProductName=Microsoft Ofiice professional plus 2007
    ProductName=Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007
So now Once found the correct registry subkey, Just delete the following values:
    DigitalProductID
    ProductID
    Now Close Registry Editor.

Once Microsoft Office 2007 has been installed with no product key, proceed with the following steps:

In Windows Explorer, brose to the following folder:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en\
Right click on Proof.XML file, select “Open With…” in the right click menu.
In the “Open With” window, select Notepad to be used to open the XML file. In Vista, if you can’t see the Notepad option, simply double click the “Other Programs” to unhide it.
Scroll down to the bottom of the Proof.XML to locate the following lines:

Change the AlwaysInsalled to neverInstalled so that the line looks like following:

Save the Proof.xml file. In Windows Vista, you may need to take ownership and grant full access permission to yourself before able to modify the file.
sometimes u may come accross some pop showing out Access is Defined then just go to properties and admin permissions to yourself so that you might be able to save the changes
You can now launch Microsoft Office 2007 application such as Powerpoint,Word, Excel,Outlook and etc without Being Asked For Activation

  21. Actually, the window does pop up after editing the "proof.en" file, but when you click to activate, it simply says, "Thank you, your product has been activated." Then you close and reopen the MS Office application, and never see that screen again.
